Job Description
Finavia leads and develops 20 airports in Finland, providing smooth and high-quality services for airlines and travelers. We develop accessibility and good flight connections in Finland, committed to sustainable aviation. We are seeking an Analytics Engineer to strengthen our data and analytics capabilities. The role involves modeling, refining, and utilizing critical analytics and reporting data, supporting strategic and operational decision-making by producing consistent, reliable, and business-oriented information and metrics for various functions. Responsibilities include logical and physical data modeling, developing data structures on Snowflake, implementing reporting and analytics solutions, translating business requirements into analytics solutions, developing data modeling and reporting principles, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance, participating in projects, monitoring technological developments, and developing operational models in collaboration with data and analytics partners. The ideal candidate has strong experience in analytics data modeling, SQL expertise, Snowflake experience, knowledge of Data Vault architecture, practical experience with Power BI, and understanding of modern data and analytics architecture, data management, and security requirements. A relevant higher education degree, several years of relevant work experience, and proficiency in Finnish and English are required. The role requires a customer-oriented team player who takes responsibility, develops new ideas, communicates openly, collaborates across borders, and promotes a positive atmosphere and Finnish operational culture. A basic security clearance and drug test will be conducted.
