Sibbo is a growing bilingual municipality in eastern Uusimaa, between Helsinki and Porvoo. Nature, archipelago, and countryside are an important part of Sibbo. Sibbo has approximately 23,000 residents, and the scenic views and advantageous location continually attract new residents to the municipality. We are now seeking a Native Language and Literature Teacher for the period from October 5, 2026, to June 5, 2027, at Sibbo Gymnasium. Sibbo Gymnasium is a school with about 150 students. We focus on personalized guidance, a pleasant study environment, good contact between students and teachers, diverse teaching and working methods, and friendly traditions! We are looking for an engaged teacher with broad pedagogical knowledge and a genuine desire to plan and develop teaching and the school. Additionally, we want the applicant to have the ability to cooperate well with students and colleagues. Experience in upper secondary education is considered an asset. Qualifications are determined according to the regulation (986/1998) on the eligibility requirements for personnel in education. Terms of employment are determined according to UKTA. A probationary period applies to the position. The selected person must present a criminal record extract according to the law on background checks for persons working with children (504/2002) and an acceptable health statement.
