Class Teacher or Special Education Teacher, Preparatory Education / Keskuskoulu - Vaasan kaupunki - Vaasa, Finland

We are seeking a class teacher or special education teacher for preparatory teaching for grades 1-6 from August 11, 2026, to December 21, 2026, at Keskuskoulu. The position may be extended as a fixed-term contract until July 31, 2027. Keskuskoulu is a school with approximately 360 students located in the city center. The school offers education for grades 1-6. In addition to general education, the school provides Swedish immersion teaching and preparatory education for basic education. Multilingualism is a central part of the school's culture among both staff and students. Qualifications required are in accordance with Regulation 986/1998. Language proficiency requirement is excellent written and spoken Finnish. Preferred qualifications include: - Ability to plan and implement teaching considering students' different support needs and backgrounds. - Good interaction and collaboration skills.
