The Sahakoski Family Support Center is seeking a food service supervisor for a summer substitute from July 6 to August 2, 2026. We are looking for a food service supervisor for a child protection unit located in Hamina. The unit has two wards with children, youth, and families as clients. Your task is to plan and execute the food services for children and young people. Responsibilities include food preparation, baking, plating, cleaning, ordering food supplies, and maintaining the kitchen and common areas. The role involves preparing two hot meals daily for Sahakoski's clients and staff. The work is daytime, scheduled between 8:00 and 16:00. Salary: €2,549.96/month We prefer candidates with relevant education, such as a basic degree in large-scale catering or home economics. To succeed in this role, you should have: - Previous kitchen work experience - Flexibility and service-mindedness - Initiative and responsibility - Hygiene passport and valid salmonella certificate - Ability to communicate and work with children and young people Vaccination protection according to the Infectious Diseases Act must be in place, and a tuberculosis screening according to the Infectious Diseases Act is required before starting.
