Engineer, test maintenance - Bittium Oyj - Remote - Global

We are now looking for an Engineer, Tester Maintenance to join our Production Methods organization. In this role, your main objective is to ensure that production test systems remain operational, properly calibrated, and compliant with IPC, MIL, and internal standards. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and quality of products by maintaining and developing the production test environment used in manufacturing. We offer a flexible hybrid working model, but this role requires regular presence at Bittium's premises as well as occasional visits to supplier facilities. Main responsibilities• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot production test equipment • Perform preventive maintenance activities • Participate in calibration activities • Work closely with production and product development teams • Maintain documentation related to maintenance activities • Contribute to process and working method improvementsWhat we are looking for• Experience with test systems in a production environment • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new things • Ability to read circuit diagrams, debug hardware, and understand test software behavior • Basic understanding of NI TestStand, NI LabVIEW, Python, and/or other programming languages is considered an advantage • Knowledge of or experience with Robot Framework is considered an advantage • Fluent oral and written communication skills in Finnish and English
