Construction Supervisor (Earthworks), Uusimaa - Academic Work

Would you like to be responsible for the daily management of diverse earthworks projects in a growing company? We are looking for a construction supervisor in the Uusimaa region. In this role, you will work in a practical environment combining site management, personnel guidance, and ensuring smooth work progress. As a construction supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the construction site and ensure that work proceeds according to plans, schedules, and objectives. You will work closely with employees, subcontractors, and the client, ensuring safe and quality work at the site. Job Tasks - Daily management of site operations - Organizing work groups and machinery teams - Scheduling work phases and monitoring progress - Coordinating resources and proactive planning - Placing material orders and coordinating procurement - Ensuring up-to-date site plans - Supervising safety, quality, and efficiency - Collaborating with employees, subcontractors, and other stakeholders We are looking for - Suitable technical education (e.g., construction engineer, civil engineer, or infrastructure construction education) - Previous experience in site supervision in construction or earthworks - Ability to read plans and guide work phases accordingly - Fluent spoken and written Finnish and good English skills - Good interaction and collaboration skills - B driving license We value if you have - Experience especially from earthworks sites - Background in practical earthworks or worker roles - KVV certification To succeed in this role, you are: - Solution-oriented and goal-driven - Self-directed and proactive - A natural leader who dares to make decisions - Cooperative and approachable - Able to grasp the overall picture even under pressure Recruitment Process Academic Work handles this recruitment on behalf of our client, who prefers all questions related to the position to be directed to Academic Work.
