Intern (HR, Workplace Wellbeing) - Hätäkeskuslaitos - Pori, Finland

As an intern, you will familiarize yourself with the operations of the Emergency Response Centre Agency's personnel unit, particularly tasks related to implementing the workplace wellbeing program, developing work ability management and expertise, occupational safety, personnel surveys, supporting data-driven management, and workplace health cooperation. You will support a workplace wellbeing specialist responsible for these areas. You will participate in achieving our common goal of a healthy, committed, and professional staff – a well-being-oriented emergency responder. Your tasks include planning and implementing measures related to the workplace wellbeing program, participating in the implementation of the PersonnelBaron system, designing and creating various presentation, training, and orientation materials, HR communication (such as writing intranet news), updating various materials, planning and organizing workplace wellbeing events, and participating in activities development. Depending on your skills and interests, the internship may also include other tasks. The position supports the government’s goal to hire 500 young people into fixed-term service roles as seasonal workers and higher education interns during 2026. The role is especially intended for individuals aged 18–25 seeking their first job in the public sector. The applicant does not need to be a student; recent graduates are also eligible. Higher education internship support is not required. The work is primarily on-site, with remote work arrangements possible after orientation.
