In the hospital services of the prison healthcare unit, comprehensive multidisciplinary somatic disease treatment and rehabilitation, psychiatric treatment, outpatient consultations, and various forensic psychiatric examinations such as mental state assessments and risk evaluations of life-term prisoners are provided. As a head nurse, you will act as a direct supervisor to the nursing staff and be responsible for leading the nursing work within your area of responsibility. You will contribute to the development of high-quality nursing processes and operational models, the implementation of these models, as well as managing and optimally allocating nursing staff resources in collaboration with the chief nurse. The head nurse's area of responsibility includes Department 3 of the Vantaa unit of the Psychiatric Prison Hospital and Department 3 of the Hämeenlinna Prison Hospital. These departments have a total of approximately 20 shift-working employees. The role involves regular travel.
