The Customs Crime Investigation Department is responsible for the preliminary investigation of customs crimes and related work to prevent and detect crimes. The Operational Customs Crime Investigation Unit handles the operational planning, execution, and management of customs crime investigations and intelligence activities, as well as overseeing investigative operations and other special tasks assigned to the customs crime investigation department, such as cybercrime prevention. A position is available at Customs: Chief Investigator in the Economic Crime Investigation Unit (Customs Inspector role) (Helsinki) The duties include working as the chief investigator in the economic crime investigation unit in Helsinki. The selected person will lead preliminary investigations of economic crimes within Customs' jurisdiction and serve as the administrative supervisor of the investigation team. The role may also include additional responsibilities such as participating in working groups and delivering training lectures.
