Job Description
Position: Electrician Location: Meyer Turku Shipyard, Turku, Finland Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week) Salary: 16€ per hour Key Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment within shipbuilding projects. - Collaborate with engineers and other tradespeople to complete electrical installations in line with project specifications. - Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. - Troubleshoot electrical issues effectively and efficiently, providing solutions as necessary. - Adhere to all safety protocols and workplace policies during operations. Requirements: - Proven experience as an electrician, specifically within the shipbuilding industry. (Minimum 2 years ) - Possess the necessary certifications for ship electrical work. - Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuitry, and schematics. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively. - Attention to detail and commitment to adhering to safety standards. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working in a shipyard or maritime environment. - Familiarity with modern shipbuilding technologies and practices.
