Solution Analyst – Espoo - Academic Work

We are seeking a Solution Analyst to strengthen growth projects in the energy sector in the Finnish market. The purpose of the role is to evaluate and guide technical-commercial concepts financially and support investment decisions with internal business case calculations. You will work closely with the analysis team, project development, and client interface, from operational experts to top management. We offer a vantage point at the core of a large Nordic energy company's business. A responsible and impactful role where your analysis results directly influence significant industrial-scale investments. An experienced and close-knit analysis team with strong support at the Espoo office. Salary approximately €4,000 - €6,000/month depending on your experience. In this role, you will manage multiple analytical tasks simultaneously in changing schedules and complex environments. You will be responsible for building and refining financial models into easily understandable, business-supporting insights. Additionally, you will produce and prepare value-driven (Value-Selling) materials to convince future clients of the economic viability of energy solutions. Responsibilities include financial assessment and profitability modeling of industrial energy projects, preparation and coordination of internal business case calculations and investment proposals (CAPEX), handling large data sets and applying mathematical or financial models, and creating convincing, data-driven sales and presentation materials. We are looking for deep practical expertise in Excel modeling and conducting complex financial or investment calculations, good practical skills in handling large data sets, and excellent oral and written skills in Finnish and English. Additional advantages include knowledge of energy markets, experience with mathematical models or machine learning, fluent Swedish, and experience in value-selling or corporate finance. The person should be analytical, systematic, confident with numbers, able to manage multiple streams, and adaptable in communication. The position is fixed-term from August to December 31, 2026, with a hybrid work model mainly at the Espoo office (remote up to 1-2 days/week). Salary is approx. €4,000 – €6,000/month. The client is a large energy group focused on CO2-free electricity and heat production, employing thousands of professionals. The recruitment process includes personality and cognitive tests.
