Laboratory Nurse or Registered Nurse, Clinical Chemistry and Microbiology, Alavus (Ähtäri) - Etelä-Pohjanmaan hyvinvointialue - Seinäjoki, Finland

We are hiring for the South Ostrobothnia Wellbeing Services County in the Clinical Chemistry and Microbiology service unit at Alavus Social and Health Center and its regional health stations/-points laboratories for a laboratory nurse/bioanalyst or nurse for the period 27.7.-31.12.2026. The job tasks depend on the qualification of the recruited employee. As a laboratory nurse, your duties include outpatient sample collection, ward sample collection, external research, appointment scheduling, sample analysis, and basic physiological tests (e.g., spirometry). As a nurse, your tasks do not include sample analysis. The fixed-term employment begins on 27.7.2026 or as agreed. The work is day shift. The initial placement is at the Ähtäri laboratory. We are looking for a motivated, customer service-oriented, and sample collection skilled employee. You must be able to travel between Alavus Social and Health Center and its regional health stations/-points laboratories. Use of your own car is necessary. Original education and work certificates must be presented during the possible interview. Terms of employment and salary are determined according to the applicable SOTE agreement. The starting salary for the position is 2947.90 EUR/month. A trial period applies at the start of employment. The selected candidate may be required to pass a drug test and provide a health certificate. HYVAEP is a non-smoking workplace. The position requires vaccination protection according to Section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act and a certificate of tuberculosis of the respiratory tract according to Section 55.
