Job Description
As a housing customer advisor, you assess the housing service needs of the elderly based on the criteria for service provision, make service decisions, and guide clients to appropriate housing services. You participate in SAS work, which involves evaluating and reflecting on RAI functional capacity assessment results in relation to the client's functional ability. The work is independent, and you may handle matters for multiple municipalities independently. Additionally, your tasks include collaborating with housing service units and other partners. The current placement for this customer guidance position is within the southern municipalities of the Pirkanmaa wellbeing service area. The office facilities for the southern area are located in Kangasala or Valkeakoski. If necessary, you will work across the entire Pirkanmaa region. As a customer advisor, your work is independent expert work, with the possibility of partial remote work. You will work in a skilled, team-oriented, humorous, and motivated team that values colleagues. We warmly welcome new employees and provide orientation. Qualifications include a suitable higher education degree in social and/or health care, or a previous college-level qualification registered with the License and Supervision Authority's professional register. A valid B-class driving license and access to a car are required. Experience in customer guidance and interpreting RAI functional capacity assessments are also required. Proficiency in Finnish is necessary. Preferred qualifications: - Experience in housing customer guidance, home care, and elderly housing services - Knowledge of the elderly service pathway and geriatric clients - Experience in decision-making and multidisciplinary teamwork - Ability to work independently, make decisions, and a solution-oriented, development-minded approach. The permanent position is to start on August 1, 2026, or as agreed. A six-month probationary period applies. The working hours are full-time with flexible working hours.
