Early Childhood Education Teacher, Eestinmetsän Daycare - Espoon kaupunki - Espoo, Finland

We are seeking a full-time early childhood education teacher for Eestinmetsän Daycare. The daycare is currently undergoing an expansion renovation, and according to the latest information, we will be able to move back to the renovated premises in August 2026. We are currently in temporary premises, and our daycare operates four groups. In August 2026, additional groups will be added once the expansion is completed. Three groups will operate entirely in the newly renovated premises, and other groups have had surface renovations. You will work with another early childhood education teacher and a child caregiver in your group. Eestinmetsän Daycare is located centrally, making it easy to visit various nature and cultural sites. Forests are also nearby around the daycare. As an early childhood education teacher, you will be responsible for planning and implementing your group's pedagogical activities together with your team. An important part of your work is also collaboration with other teachers in the building and cooperation with families. Our daycare strongly emphasizes pedagogical skills, play, and physical activity. Our staff is united by strong professional expertise and an understanding of the significance of early childhood education work. It is important to us that children and adults enjoy their time. Additionally, a comprehensive special education teacher and a language and culture teacher are actively involved in the daily life of the daycare. You will also have support from the daycare director and assistant director, who are always ready to help and support. With the support of the mentoring group, you will become familiar with Espoo’s early childhood education and learn to recognize your strengths and skills.
