School Assistant - Pöytyän kunta - Pöytyä, Finland

The Elisenvaaran Comprehensive School in Pöytyä municipality has a fixed-term position available for a school assistant (vacancy no. 2008) from August 10, 2026, to December 18, 2026, and from January 7, 2027, to June 5, 2027. The working hours are 25 hours per week. Next academic year, the placement will be in Kyrö unit in general education classes. The duties may also include supervising morning and afternoon activities. Working shifts are scheduled between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. according to a rotating schedule. We are looking for a school assistant with experience in diabetes care during the school day. Good cooperation and interaction skills, as well as a development-oriented work attitude, are appreciated. Qualifications are in accordance with the decree on the qualifications of education personnel 986/1998, section 9a. The position is subject to a two-month probation period and conditions according to the Collective Agreement for Municipal Personnel (KVTES). The selected candidate must provide an acceptable criminal background check for working with children within one month of being notified of the selection. The appointment is conditional until the certificate is submitted.
