Senior Design Engineer - Lokki Henkilöstöpalvelut Oy

For our client were looking for a Design Engineer. The team is responsible for main circuit and power electronics design across various product development projects within the High-Power division. Responsibilities: · Design, dimension, and verify the main circuit and power electronics of frequency converters · Specify verification tests and analyze results · Create and maintain design documentation · Research and evaluate new components and topologies · Collaborate with subcontractors and cross-functional engineering teams, including mechanical, electronics, and verification teams · Mentor and support junior engineers · Participate in product development projects within the High Power division Required Skills: · M.Sc. in Power Electronics or a related field · Relevant experience in product development projects · Strong knowledge of electrical drives main circuit topologies · Deep understanding of power semiconductors and inductive components · Proven experience in filter design · Proficiency with simulation tools such as Simulink · Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken Preferred Skills: · Finnish language skills · Experience mentoring junior engineers Seniority: 5+ years. We are primarily looking for someone senior in terms of work experience, but candidates with a strong educational background may also be considered with shorter experience.
