We are now looking for a security technology project manager for a permanent position in Kuopio. The role offers a versatile and practical task where your expertise can shine. You will be supported by established organizational models, an experienced expert team, and colleagues across Finland. Your tasks as a security technology project manager include leading security system projects from design to implementation, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence. You will be responsible for project progress, finances, and reporting, supporting the commercial department during the bidding phase. You will manage the overall project and ensure smooth customer cooperation. You will utilize your understanding of electronic security systems and participate in their design if needed. You will lead your team practically and ensure daily operations meet goals. The work is day work (37.5 h/week), and projects are mainly located in North and South Savo regions. You will thrive if you have several years of experience with security systems (access control, video surveillance, intruder alarms) and project management. Knowledge of fire alarm, AV, or lock systems is a plus. You should have understanding of data networks, server environments, and IP networks in security systems. Strong cooperation and organizational skills, a team player attitude, and readiness to lead and guide a team towards common goals are essential. You should be goal-oriented, financially aware, and able to work independently, solve challenges, and plan your activities. Excellent communication skills with customers and stakeholders, good IT skills especially MS Office, fluent Finnish, and good English are required. Additionally, a valid electrical safety certificate (SFS 6002), safety, first aid, and fire safety cards, a B driver’s license, and the ability to use your own car are required. A clean background is necessary. Knowledge of electronic security and lock systems (e.g., iLOQ, Abloy OS, Security Expert) is a plus.
