Job Description
The application period for the Green and Recreation Area Supervisor position is extended. Previously submitted applications will be considered in the decision-making process. The City of Ikaalinen is seeking a service-minded and cooperative Green and Recreation Area Supervisor for a permanent position in technical services. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop a pleasant, functional, and safe urban environment and to participate concretely in supporting residents' daily lives and well-being. You will be responsible for the overall management of the city's outdoor and green areas, including parks and green spaces, outdoor sports areas and trails, small harbors, boat washing stations, and the market square, city-owned property yards, and management of city-owned forests. Your tasks include both practical operational work and administrative planning, procurement, and coordination. You will act as a supervisor for employees working in green and recreation areas and ensure smooth daily operations, safety, and quality. The area of responsibility covers the entire City of Ikaalinen.
