We are looking for a new colleague for the Forssa, Loimaa, and Salo Eye Centers. Our team is collaborative and skilled, making it easy to integrate. In our multidisciplinary team, you will work with opticians, optical sales staff, ophthalmologists, assistant store managers, and store manager Airi, who is also an optician. - The employment is permanent. - Working hours are negotiable, approximately 22.5–37.5 hours per week, or according to your preference. - We will agree together on a suitable start date. - Working hours are convenient: weekdays from 9:00 to 18:00 and Saturdays from 9:15. What does your workday consist of? The Forssa, Loimaa, and Salo Eye Centers offer a diverse and dynamic work environment where you will perform a wide range of optician duties. Forssa Eye Center is a vision care center. Your workday will mainly focus on the examination room and may include tasks such as: - vision tests and contact lens fittings - surgical assessments - myopia management - specialized work with glasses - OCT structural imaging, with images reviewed by a doctor - preliminary refractions for doctor’s patients. You will have the opportunity to develop your professional skills daily and, if desired, expand your expertise into areas such as sports vision. The most important requirements are: - Optician qualification and Valvira licensing, or you are a graduating optometrist student. - Interest in eye health and sales, with a desire to offer the best solutions from glasses to eye surgery. - Authorization to use diagnostic medications and work eligibility are a plus. - Ability to work at the Forssa, Loimaa, and Salo locations within their opening hours.
