The instructor works student-centered and goal-oriented, planning the student's pathway towards studies and working life. The support in skills acquisition and career planning is primarily provided by the study counselor team. The goal is for students not to interrupt their studies but to re-enter basic or preparatory training programs, continuing their pathway into working life or further studies. You are the person we are looking for if you have at least a secondary education qualification in education or guidance, e.g., a basic qualification in education and guidance or a community pedagogue (AMK). The role requires strong and diverse practical work experience and expertise in various youth environments. We require strong competence in youth work and engaging with different learners. Experience working with non-native speakers is an advantage. The work is daytime work, and a driving license is required. You will move daily between Riihimäki and Hyvinkää. Your workplace is located in Riihimäki. Terms of employment and salary are determined according to the collective agreement for private education administration and support staff. The task-specific salary is €2,319.19/month, based on the complexity level 4, plus experience-based additional pay according to the collective agreement. Before starting work, the selected candidate must present an acceptable health certificate and a criminal record extract related to working with children, according to the Act 504/2002. Our roles include a trial period. In addition to the primary workplace, the work area includes the Hyria consortium's operational area with workstations. Hyria is an educational institution and also a workplace where students are primarily engaged in practical training across all administrative and support services. Guiding students is part of every Hyria employee's duties. When you start, we want you to enjoy your work and feel good. Read more about our employee benefits: www.hyria.fi/urat.
