Kukkolan camp center is owned by Tampere Pentecostal Church and Helsinki Salem Congregation. It is located in Pälkäne and is busy during the summer with camps. Kukkolan camp center is seeking a temporary employee from June 1 to June 28, 2026. The duties include leading the summer camp kitchen and voluntary kitchen staff. This involves planning menus, ordering ingredients, and preparing meals together with volunteer helpers. We expect the selected candidate to have good cooperation skills with camp organizers and health authorities, the ability to work under pressure, excellent knowledge of hygiene regulations, and skills in preparing diverse and tasty camp meals. The candidate must present a criminal record extract (Criminal Records Act, Section 6, Subsection 2). Working hours are 7.5 hours per day per week, arranged flexibly according to the camp schedule using a work time bank. Salary and benefits (meals and accommodation) will be agreed upon based on experience and skills, in accordance with legislation and agreements. The position is temporary. The exact start date will be agreed later; the first camp begins on June 1, 2026. The position will be filled once a suitable candidate is found.
