Job Description
We are seeking a temporary Child-specific Assistant for the period from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. A child-specific assistant acts as a personal assistant to one child during preschool and supplementary early childhood education. The assistant's task is to guide and assist the child in daily activities and support participation in group activities. The assistant works as part of the education team and participates in planning, evaluating, and developing activities. The working hours for the position are 30 hours per week. Before starting the position, a criminal record extract related to working with children according to the Act (504/2002) and a medical certificate of health must be submitted. Additionally, we expect fluent Finnish language skills from applicants. The terms of employment are governed by the KVTES agreement, and a 4-month probationary period applies to the position.
