Mechanical Engineer / Engenheiro Mecânico - P3 - Sandvik - Remote - Global

A Sandvik Rock Processing Brasil – Screening Solutions Division is seeking a Mechanical Engineer / Engenheiro Mecânico – P3 to work physically at our plant located in Taubaté/SP. The role involves developing applied technical solutions and equipment customizations, providing technical support to engineering projects, conducting structural, fatigue, and vibration analyses, preparing and reviewing technical documentation and drawings, troubleshooting and field support, participating in startups and technical visits, standardizing solutions, improving technical quality, supporting manufacturing and assembly, collaborating with mechanical designers and other technical areas, and interacting with global teams in Australia and Finland. The scope includes vibratory screens, exciters, vibratory feeders, metallic structures, chutes, conveyors, and feeders. The position aims to support projects and customizations of vibratory equipment, improve technical quality, support manufacturing, reduce engineering bottlenecks, and ensure adherence to global standards and operational requirements. The work involves collaboration with mechanical designers, direct interface with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and field service, contact with global teams and suppliers, and participation in multidisciplinary projects. KPIs include project quality, rework reduction, deadline compliance, troubleshooting response time, standardization level, and effective support to manufacturing and field. The work model is hybrid, with travel availability and field support. Skills required include technical organization, attention to detail, analytical capacity, teamwork, continuous improvement, proactivity, quality orientation, deadline commitment, accountability, and partial project ownership. Competencies include experience in mining, OEM, steel, capital goods, or metallic structures; knowledge of vibratory equipment and industrial metallic structures; experience with Inventor, AutoCAD, Vault; structural calculation, fatigue, vibration; technical drawing interpretation; troubleshooting and field support (desirable). Education: Mechanical Engineering degree. Language: Intermediate English (mandatory), advanced preferred.
