Project Researcher (Human-technology interaction) - Tampereen yliopisto - Remote - Global

We are seeking researchers for several research projects in the field of human-technology interaction. The positions are hosted by the Pervasive Interaction Research Group (PIRG) and are affiliated with the TAUCHI Research Center and Tampere Accessibility Unit (TACCU) within the Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Sciences (ITC) at Tampere University. Our research focuses on human-technology interaction, AI, XR, accessibility, multimodal interaction, and inclusive digital technologies for work and society. The selected researchers will contribute to tasks such as software development, AI and data-driven methods, VR/AR/XR, user evaluations, and digital accessibility. The goal is some candidates will pursue a doctoral degree. Applicants should hold a Master’s degree, have knowledge of human-technology interaction, and good command of English. Finnish language skills and experience with digital accessibility are assets. Positions are fixed-term for 1–3 years, starting in September 2026, with a salary starting at around 2,500 EUR/month.
