Job Description
Are you interested in a role where you can get involved in noise assessments, large infrastructure projects, and versatile expert work as part of a straightforward, flat hierarchy team? At WSP, you will participate in diverse noise, vibration, and acoustics projects within a close-knit expert team. The role is ideal for recent graduates or those with about 1-2 years of experience seeking the next step in their career, where they can grow as an expert but not work alone. Daily tasks vary from field measurements to analysis, reporting, and planning, with collaboration across different expert fields. The primary work location is Tampere, but flexible arrangements are possible. We operate a hybrid work model, combining office and remote work based on project and collaboration needs. You will work as part of a 9-person expert team on multidisciplinary projects addressing environmental noise, vibration, and structure-borne noise. Your work will have a tangible impact on future built environments, mobility solutions, and soundscapes, embodying our Future Ready approach. Typical tasks include focusing on environmental noise assessments in infrastructure and urban projects, participating in vibration and structure-borne noise assessments, designing noise mitigation, conducting field measurements, analyzing results, preparing reports and project documents, and collaborating with experts from various fields on new questions and solutions. You are suitable for the role if you have a relevant AMK or DI degree in environmental engineering, construction engineering, or similar, some experience in measurements, assessments, or design through studies, work, or internships, a desire to learn and develop as an expert through practical work, enthusiasm for varied tasks combining field measurements and analysis, teamwork skills, and possibly experience with measurement equipment or design software. Why join WSP? You will be supported by a close, communicative team where issues are solved together with low barriers to help. Our culture is straightforward and humane, with low hierarchy, good team spirit, and an environment where opinions are valued and voiced. You will participate in diverse projects with changing work and new challenges, supported by your supervisor and skilled colleagues. Our hybrid model and flexible practices help balance work and life. Our Future Ready mindset means seeking solutions that serve current needs and work for the future. If you want to grow as an expert in a straightforward, capable team, this could be your next step. Interested? Send your application via the link by June 14, 2026.
