There are two fixed-term positions available for EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION EDUCATORS at Tuulikellon Daycare from August 3, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The position will be assigned at the start of employment either to a group of children under 3 years old or as an internal resource. Tuulikellon Daycare has a positive atmosphere where everyone can be themselves. In a multicultural environment, families are met with respect and appreciation. Qualifications for an early childhood education educator include compliance with the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018, Section 28), considering the transitional provisions for personnel under Section 75. A basic degree in social and health care is required, with specialization studies in children and youth. Knowledge of English and familiarity with STEAM pedagogy are considered an advantage. The salary for the early childhood education educator position is based on the level pay system and the level of skills and responsibilities, ranging from €2,456.83 to €2,567.07. The actual salary consists of a task-specific salary and possible other level-based allowances according to the collective agreement. Before accepting the position, the selected candidate must present a criminal record extract issued under the Act on Background Checks of Persons Working with Children (504/2002). According to the Infectious Diseases Act (55/2016), the employer is responsible for requiring a reliable statement that the employee or intern does not have active tuberculosis before starting work.
