Our Editron business unit is leading the electrification revolution, specializing in hybrid and electric powertrain systems for the off-highway, on-highway and marine markets. In this role as Product Application Engineer - Electrification, you will play a key role in accelerating the electrification of off-highway industries by supporting cutting-edge electric machine solutions within Danfoss EDITRON. Your expertise will directly help customers transition toward more efficient and sustainable technologies across construction, mining, and agriculture. As a trusted technical partner, you will bridge customer needs with product innovation—ensuring our electric machines deliver real-world performance and value. Your insights will influence product development, improve reliability, and shape the future of electrified powertrains. By collaborating across global teams in R&D, product management, and sales, you will help bring new solutions to market—while continuously improving existing products to meet evolving industry demands. What You’ll Be Doing Provide technical product guidance to sales and engineering teams to enable strong customer solutions and successful project delivery Drive product improvements and changes based on customer needs to enhance performance, usability, and market fit Translate customer requirements into clear specifications to support new product development and innovation Develop and deliver technical training to internal teams, customers, and partners to build product understanding and confidence Investigate and resolve technical issues in collaboration with engineering and quality teams to ensure reliable product performance What We're Looking For Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s minimum) or equivalent practical experience Solid experience with electric machines and power electronics (e.g., motors, generators, inverters, converters) Strong understanding of AC/DC systems and electrical drawings Proven ability to solve technical challenges and support customers in application or engineering roles Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken) for global collaboration Experience with SAP and TeamCenter ERP/PLM systems to manage product data, documentation, and change processes efficiently What You'll Get from Us We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
