Job Description
Hello doctor, join the Solo team! We are looking for an occupational health physician in North Karelia. The work can be done entirely remotely or in a hybrid model, with on-site and remote work. The work period is from November 1, 2026, to October 30, 2027. The duration of the work period can be negotiated according to the client's needs and the doctor's preferences. The occupational health physician acts as an occupational medicine expert in accordance with good occupational health practices. The physician participates as needed in workplace assessments and prepares health significance evaluations together with a multidisciplinary team. The physician is involved in developing and updating action plans as needed and is responsible for planning exposure-based occupational health surveillance together with the multidisciplinary team. The occupational health physician has medical responsibility for determining the need for health examinations. The physician conducts exposure-based health surveillance. The role includes assisting employers in assessing and managing health and work capacity risks in collaboration with the company. The occupational health physician is responsible for occupational health services for employer clients together with an occupational health nurse. Requirements: - Specialist qualification in occupational health or Kela 1 qualification - Vaccination protection according to Infectious Diseases Act §48 - Good Finnish language skills Working hours and compensation: Working hours are weekdays Mon-Fri 08:00-16:00. The work is on-site, hybrid, or remote. Total compensation is based on the doctor's experience and salary expectations. NOTE: This is a tender, deadline June 3, 2026.
