We are looking for a genuinely interested practical nurse in elderly care and well-being for a permanent position at Kärpäsen Service Home. Kärpäsen Service Home is a cozy unit providing 24-hour assisted living, where we offer around-the-clock care to elderly residents who need significant help and support. The work of a practical nurse here is varied and offers you the opportunity to develop as a healthcare professional. In addition to care, nursing, and caregiving tasks, you will also perform medical tasks. As a practical nurse, you work in the residents' homes, and your job description is diverse. You must hold a valid license as a practical nurse according to the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/94) and have vaccination protection in accordance with Section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act. Our working language is Finnish, so we expect fluent spoken and written Finnish skills at least at B1 level. Those working with the elderly must present an acceptable criminal record extract as specified in section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Record Act (Law on Social and Health Care Supervision 741/2023 28§).
