Job Description
We are seeking an early childhood education teacher for Oripää's early childhood education. We expect the candidate to have expertise in early childhood education, good interaction and teamwork skills, and an enthusiastic approach to work. The teacher's responsibilities include pedagogical planning and implementation in collaboration with the team. Community spirit and warm interaction with children are important values in Oripää's early childhood education. The selected candidate must have qualifications for an early childhood education teacher: a Bachelor's degree in education or a degree in social services and health care, such as a Bachelor of Social Services (sosionomi, AMK), including at least 60 credits in early childhood education and social pedagogy, or other qualifications as specified by law. The municipality of Oripää promotes occupational well-being with e-pass cards, gym memberships, and clothing allowances. We hope the successful candidate will start on August 1, 2026. The formal salary for a qualified early childhood education teacher in Oripää is €3005.79/month (as of April 2026). Qualification requirements are based on the Decree on Qualifications for Education and Training Personnel (540/2018) §§ 26/27. The working hours are 38.25 hours/week, and salary is determined according to the Collective Agreement for Municipal Personnel (KVTES). The position is filled with a 6-month probationary period, and the selected candidate must submit a medical certificate of health and a criminal record extract within 30 days of the decision.
