Engineer, test maintenance - Bittium Oyj - Vantaa, Finland

We are now looking for an Engineer, Tester Maintenance to join our Production Methods organization. In this role, your main objective is to ensure that production test systems remain operational, properly calibrated, and compliant with IPC, MIL, and internal standards. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and quality of products by maintaining and developing the production test environment used in manufacturing. We offer a flexible hybrid working model, but this role requires regular presence at Bittium's premises as well as occasional visits to supplier facilities. Main responsibilities include monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting production test equipment, performing preventive maintenance activities, participating in calibration activities, working closely with production and product development teams, maintaining documentation related to maintenance activities, and contributing to process and working method improvements. Requirements include experience with test systems in a production environment, strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, ability to read circuit diagrams, debug hardware, understand test software behavior, basic understanding of NI TestStand, NI LabVIEW, Python, and/or other programming languages, knowledge of or experience with Robot Framework, and fluent oral and written communication skills in Finnish and English.
