Job Description
Dalla Valle Oy is seeking a buyer for the berry and mushroom season in Kuusamo and the surrounding area. We are looking for a conscientious, energetic, and customer-oriented employee to purchase mushrooms and berries during the season. The work is carried out at the Kuusamo purchase point and on mobile routes in the Kuusamo area. Working hours depend on opening hours and route schedules. The season typically runs from July to September. A valid B driver's license is required; a C license is an advantage. This practical and varied seasonal work combines customer service, product reception, handling, and daily operations at the purchase point. Purchase products include, among others, lingonberries, bilberries, cloudberries, and mushrooms. Job tasks include: Purchasing and receiving mushrooms and berries, Customer service at the purchase point or on the route, Checking and weighing products, Cash register use and cash handling, Handling and transporting products, Managing daily operations at the fixed purchase point or driving a delivery van/truck on the route, Possible transportation of products by van, including loading and unloading. We expect you to have a careful, responsible, and quick work attitude, along with good customer service skills. The role requires readiness for practical and partly physical work, flexibility for seasonal working days, and commitment to work throughout the season. A valid B or C driver's license is also required. Knowledge of natural products, previous experience in customer service, purchasing, or receiving work, and a hygiene passport are considered advantages. We offer training for the role, varied and interesting seasonal work, the opportunity to work in a well-known natural product company, and support from the team throughout the season. Our main office is located in Polvijärvi Sotkuma, but the work is performed at the Kuusamo purchase point and its routes. You will be supported by an experienced colleague. The work includes day and evening shifts depending on the season and purchase times, including weekends. The employment relationship follows the retail sector collective agreement.
