Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic family rehabilitation supervisor for Niittypolku Family Rehabilitation Unit to cover parental leave. What to expect in this role This is a full-time, fixed-term position until February 16, 2027. The work primarily involves two-shift work, including weekdays and weekends, with possible night shifts. Your tasks include working with families placed in family rehabilitation alongside a team. Our work is goal-oriented, rehabilitative, and focused on change. You will participate in implementing interventions, assessing children’s situations, supporting clients in daily life, and enabling their agency and participation in the change process. Work content and planning will consider clients’ individual situations and goals. The role also involves written and oral reporting. It is diverse and challenging professional work carried out with your personality and strengths in a team setting. Niittypolku is a six-bed, 24-hour family rehabilitation unit located in the peaceful surroundings of Nummela, Vihdin. Our clients are children aged 0–17 and their families. The unit provides planned, goal-oriented, and therapeutic institutional family rehabilitation. The work is based on both assessment and rehabilitative approaches with the whole family. Our multidisciplinary team has extensive experience working with children, youth, and families. The team includes social and health care professionals as well as a family psychotherapist. Salary The salary for the Family Rehabilitation Supervisor position is in accordance with the private social services sector collective agreement. The full-time salary ranges from €2,723.92 to €2,990.35 per month, depending on relevant experience. Additional shift allowances and task-specific supplements are paid according to the collective agreement. What we expect from you - A higher education degree in social or health care, such as a Bachelor of Social Services, Registered Nurse, or Occupational Therapist - Experience working with different families - Fluent Finnish and Swedish skills, both oral and written; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage - A valid driver’s license - Good collaboration and communication skills We also value previous experience in child protection work, family work, as well as experience in disability services, mental health, substance abuse, and violence prevention. Additional training in areas such as violence expertise, neuropsychiatric training, and other social work methods is also an advantage. You will succeed if you are brave, committed, and professional. A social and health care professional license must be obtained before starting employment.
