The application period for recruiting a teacher at the comprehensive school has been extended. The new deadline is June 4, 2026, at 15:00. The qualification requirement is changed: the person selected for the position is not required to have qualifications in a common subject taught in grades 7-9 of primary school. We are seeking a teacher of art for a permanent position starting October 1, 2026. We are looking for a motivated, innovative, and collaborative art teacher who wants to support and inspire middle school students' learning and help build a high-quality everyday school life. The teacher's duties include: - Teaching art - Possibly teaching other primary education subjects depending on your expertise and the school's needs - Working as part of a professional, encouraging, and community-oriented team The first placement of the position is at Hj. Nortamo Comprehensive School, which provides education for grades 7-9. Hj. Nortamo School is part of a vibrant campus that also includes a swimming hall, adult education center, music institute, sports hall, and youth center. The campus offers an innovative and pleasant environment for staff and students. The qualification requirements for the position are based on the decree on the qualification requirements for education personnel (986/1998). A copy of the qualification certificate must be attached to the application. Original certificates will be presented at the possible interview. The appointment is subject to a six-month probation period. Salary and employment terms are determined according to OVTES.
