Practical Nurse, Complex Disability Services, Salo - Varsinais-Suomen hyvinvointialue - Salo, Finland

You will work as a practical nurse and personal assistant to a minor client in daily life. Your day involves accompanying the client between home and school: starting your workday at the family’s home in Salo, then taking a taxi with the client to school in Turku, and supporting the client during the school day. At the end of the day, you return home. If needed, you will also work remotely on school days at the client’s home. You are responsible for the client’s daily care and well-being, assisting with daily activities and ensuring smooth school attendance. Your duties also include administering medication. The job requires physical ability to assist the client with transfers by hand, using a wheelchair. The daily routine includes visits to the swimming hall. There is a pet dog at the client’s home. The position is fixed-term from August 7, 2026, to June 3, 2027. Your primary workplace is Salo (Halikko), and work is carried out at the client’s home and school. Working hours are weekdays, with a weekly total of 38 hours and 15 minutes. Your supervisor is the service manager of the Developmental Disabilities Medical Care, Research, and Treatment Unit (Paimio).
