Job Description
The Pirkanmaa wellbeing services county has a total population of over half a million residents, for whom we provide social and health care services as well as rescue services at various stages of life. We are now seeking a temporary dentist responsible for orthodontic treatment. Your duties include planning and implementing orthodontic treatment for children and adolescents under the supervision of a specialist dentist. You will be supported by a multidisciplinary and skilled orthodontic team. Currently, we use the LifeCare and OMNI360 patient information systems. Qualifications include a licensed dentist degree in Finland and an unrestricted license to practice. Good oral and written Finnish language skills are also required. We value diverse clinical experience, an active and proactive work attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to develop. Additionally, we appreciate good communication and collaboration skills. Previous experience in orthodontic work is considered an advantage. Additional information: - The applicable collective agreement is the Doctors' Collective Agreement (LS). - The position is full-time. - A trial period of half the duration of the fixed-term employment applies. - Start date is 1 July 2026 or as agreed. The position is until 31 March 2027. - The selected candidate must have valid vaccination protection according to the Infectious Diseases Act (1227/2016) §48, and if necessary, a tuberculosis clearance as per §55.
