The City of Borgå's services in early childhood education are seeking early childhood education teachers for fixed-term employment from August 3, 2026, to May 31, 2027. The initial placement is at Hindhår Daycare. Hindhår Daycare is a nature-oriented facility. We organize forest excursions where we explore our surroundings, move around, and learn. The school's sports field encourages diverse physical activity. Our daycare operates bilingually, which is a richness. The premises are functional and inviting for both play and learning. As an early childhood education teacher, you are responsible for the instruction, upbringing, and care of the children in your group and participate in the development of the entire unit’s pedagogy. Together with your team, you plan, implement, evaluate, and develop the activities of the group. You share responsibility with the social pedagogue for cooperation with the children’s guardians and participate in realizing the child's participation in the group’s activities.
