Food Production Worker - Valio Oy - Remote - Global

Valio Oy's Joensuu factory produces a third of all Valio cheeses, including Valio Polar®, Valio Salaneuvos®, and Valio Viola®. The factory is expanding its cheese processing, packaging, and plant-based product manufacturing, increasing staff to approximately 300. We are seeking food production workers for processed cheese production (manufacturing and packaging) on a permanent basis. The work involves 3-shift rotation, with diverse and interesting tasks in the food industry, ensuring high-quality, responsibly produced products. Responsibilities include ensuring smooth production and packaging processes, reporting, quality control, and cleaning routines. Candidates should have food, dairy, or technical education, initiative, responsibility, teamwork skills, adaptability, basic IT skills, and fluent Finnish. Additional valued skills include hygiene, food safety, SAP, Microsoft Office, cheese production experience, and higher education. The role follows MVL/Meipake agreements, with 3-shift work.
