Early Childhood Education Teacher - Kouvolan kaupunki - Kouvola, Finland

We are seeking an early childhood education teacher for a fixed-term position from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. The primary placement will be in the Peippola Daycare Group for 3-5-year-olds. The unit's groups collaborate extensively in both planning and activities. Our daycare operates with extended hours, and the teachers' shifts are scheduled between 6:45 and 17:00. The location and facilities offer good opportunities for environmental and physical education. The duties of the early childhood education teacher include implementing, planning, evaluating, and developing early childhood education for children and groups. We expect good interaction and teamwork skills, as well as an active work approach. Additionally, we value the ability to adapt to various everyday situations in early childhood education. Qualifications required are in accordance with the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018), considering the transitional provisions (75 §). The salary for an early childhood education teacher is based on the OVTES section G, starting at €2,962.25/month. The position includes a 6-month probation period. The selected candidate must provide an acceptable health statement before starting the position and a criminal record extract related to work with children.
