We are looking for youth support workers for afternoon activities in Espoo, Otaniemi, Vantaa, and Helsinki. The clients of the afternoon activities are special youth who need support in their daily lives. You will have the opportunity to plan and guide fun and diverse afternoon activities together with the team. Our activities include working with youth on games, crafts, and music. Your contact person in afternoon activities is coordinating supervisor Jenna, and in daily practical matters, you will be guided by the group’s responsible supervisor. We have a nice and relaxed work community that is easy to join! Shifts are on weekdays from Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 17:00. During school holidays, we organize holiday care with the possibility to work from 8:00 to 16:00. The workplaces are located in Espoo, Helsinki, and Vantaa with good public transport connections. The work is gig work and fits well alongside studies or other jobs in our home services. No formal education in the field is required, and comprehensive orientation is provided. An advantage is social and health care education such as social worker, practical nurse, or developmentally disabled care worker, or previous experience working with special youth or disabled persons. The job is also suitable for students, offering good experience in working with special youth. Many of our guides have progressed to responsible guides, and we support development and career building within Mehiläinen.
