Substitute for a nearby supervisor at the Apila residential unit in Soini from 8.6 to 30.9.2026 or as agreed. Apila offers 24-hour accommodation for six residents with intellectual disabilities. An important part of our operations are customer orientation, individuality, and supporting residents' self-determination and participation. Our focus is on the customer. We are looking for a nearby supervisor for a fixed-term position to do valuable and meaningful work with people with intellectual disabilities. The duties include caring for, guiding, and supporting the unit's residents in their daily activities and enabling an enriching everyday life. The nearby supervisor's work involves 3-shift work. Qualifications include a suitable social and health care qualification or other relevant education. We require registration with Valvira's central register of social and health care professionals, a valid LOVe medication authorization, and good Finnish language skills. A hygiene passport is considered an advantage. Terms of employment and salary are determined according to the SOTE agreement, with a starting salary of 2627.08 euros/month. A probationary period applies. A certificate of health and a criminal background check according to law (741/2023) § 28 must be presented before starting. A drug test may be required. HYVAEP is a smoke-free workplace. The position requires vaccination against infectious diseases as per section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act and a tuberculosis certificate as per section 55.
