Dental Hygienist (Oral Health Care, Saarijärvi, Karstula) - Keski-Suomen hyvinvointialue

We are hiring a dental hygienist for a permanent position at the Saarijärvi and Karstula dental clinics. We offer the opportunity to perform varied and comprehensive tasks as a dental hygienist with clients of all ages. In this role, you will work at our core clinics in Saarijärvi and Karstula, as well as in smaller municipalities using a mobile dental unit. You will have the opportunity to plan your workdays considering the needs of the local population. The work is primarily based in Saarijärvi. Responsibilities include oral health assessments for children and treatment needs evaluations for adult patients, as well as periodontal treatment. The role also involves senior work responsibilities, collaborating with services for the elderly such as supported housing and home care units in the Saarijärvi area (Saarijärvi, Karstula, Kannonkoski, Kivijärvi, and Kyyjärvi). There is an opportunity to deepen expertise in periodontal treatment as a dental hygienist. We are looking for a dental hygienist interested in working with patients of all ages and developing senior activities. Previous experience as a dental hygienist is an advantage but not mandatory. The task-specific salary is €2,965.58/month. In addition, we pay experience-based bonuses of 3% after 5 years and 8% after 10 years. Qualifications include a license according to the Health Care Professionals Act (559/1994), a licensed dental hygienist. Final-year dental hygienist students can also be employed temporarily. Employment terms are governed by the social and health care sector collective agreement (SOTE agreement). The employment includes a trial period. We require suitability under the Infectious Diseases Act (48 §) (chickenpox and measles). The employer determines the need for influenza and pertussis vaccinations.
