We are NRC Group – the Nordic region’s most ambitious infrastructure builder. We design, build, and maintain critical infrastructure and employ around 2,000 professionals in Finland, Sweden, and Norway. We seek bold people to help us build infrastructure responsibly and with impact. This role is a senior and strategic position within NRC Group Finland, working closely with the Finnish executive team to ensure business growth and operations on a legally durable footing, and to proactively identify and manage legal risks. Your daily work will support the business in a variety of legal matters, contribute to business and decision-making development, and ensure effective legal governance across the organization. You will report to the CEO of NRC Group Finland and will lead one direct report. You are part of the NRC Group Nordic organization. The role covers broad responsibilities including key business projects, contract and procurement matters, and assessment and management of legal risks affecting the organization. You will act as a business partner and bring a legal perspective to decision-making in a practical and solution-oriented manner.

Responsibilities
- Support business in diverse legal matters and participate in development of business and decision-making, ensure legal governance across the organization
- Collaborate with the Finnish executive team and report to the CEO of NRC Group Finland
- Act as business partner and provide practical, solution-focused legal perspective to decisions
- Lead development of contracts, procurement and risk management in the organization
- Engage in key projects and strategic initiatives from a legal viewpoint
- Provide guidance on labor law matters and M&A activities
Requirements
- Master of Laws (LL.M. or equivalent) in law
- Extensive experience in corporate law and supporting business activities
- Understanding of project-based operations and contracts in infrastructure or construction
- Proven ability to collaborate with business leadership and strong governance expertise
- Experience in contract matters, competition law, and procurement
- Labor law knowledge
- M&A experience
- Strong networks with law firms and employer/industry associations
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, good judgment in challenging situations
- Ability to work independently, take responsibility and find practical solutions that support business
- Fluent in Finnish and English
