Assistant professor / associate professor or professor of Education Leadership - University of Helsinki - Helsinki, Finland

The Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of Helsinki invites applications for the position of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor of Education Leadership. The appointee may be appointed to a fixed-term tenure-track assistant or associate professorship or a permanent full professorship, depending on their qualifications and career stage. The role involves research and development in educational management, including pedagogical management, educational and learning management, and management of educational communities. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and doctoral education, with a focus on a master's program in educational and learning management. The appointee will contribute to the development of the EDUCA Flagship's ecosystem, promote research, develop theoretical frameworks, lead research projects, and foster international collaborations. Qualifications include a doctoral degree, research experience, teaching skills, and the ability to secure research funding. The position requires proficiency in Finnish, good English skills, and satisfactory Swedish skills. The salary ranges from 56,000 to 70,000 euros for assistant/associate professors and 67,000 to 100,000 euros for full professors, based on experience and qualifications. The appointment begins on 1 January 2027, with a six-month probation period.
