Vocational Guidance Counselor at Vauhdittamo - Lounais-Suomen koulutuskuntayhtymä - Loimaa, Finland

We are looking for a skilled vocational guidance counselor to join our team at Novida's Vauhdittamo in Loimaa. Vauhdittamo is our guidance point where students receive personal support to advance their studies and complete individual parts of vocational and common qualifications. The work involves supporting and guiding students in study-related matters. The working hours are 38.25 hours per week. Vauhdittamo is open every school day. There may also be evening work until 6 PM. Good communication and digital skills are considered an advantage. The work is independent, but collaboration with various professional fields is required. The qualification requirement for the vocational guidance counselor position is a relevant degree. The law on background checks for persons working with children (504/2002) requires that the person to be employed must present a criminal record extract as specified in the Criminal Records Act /505/2002 section 6, paragraph 2, before taking up the position. A probationary period of 5 months applies to the position. The base salary is €2,566.82/month plus possible experience-based allowances according to KVTES. The working period is from August 3, 2026, to June 11, 2027.
