Job Description
AlphaSense is seeking a Director, Legal - Data and Content to lead our legal team in managing complex contracts related to data and content licensing. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements such as research licensing, data content, distribution, and vendor contracts. The candidate will advise senior stakeholders on legal rights, compliance, and strategy, and develop scalable legal frameworks. The position is remote in the United States, preferably on the East Coast, with a salary range of $220,000 - $240,000 USD. The role requires a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, admission to a state bar, and at least 8 years of relevant experience in financial data or content licensing. The candidate must have knowledge of intellectual property, securities, privacy laws, and experience in-house at a broker-dealer, investment bank, or data provider.
