Job Description
The municipality of Liminka announces a vacancy for a substitute guidance counselor at Liminka's Liminganlahti School for the period from August 10, 2026, to June 13, 2027. The position involves teaching and guidance work at the upper grades of Liminganlahti School. We are looking for a candidate who, through their professionalism, skills, and example, is ready to develop basic education in Liminka from the perspective of guidance counseling. Strong communication and collaboration skills are appreciated. The placement is at Liminganlahti School, located a 20-minute drive from Oulu. The school is situated in the town center. Key focus areas for the school are the well-being and participation of children and young people. The application period for the substitute position is from May 28 to June 9, 2026. A 4-month probationary period will be observed in filling the position. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract in accordance with the Criminal Records Act (504/2002) before accepting the position. Salary is determined according to the municipal collective agreement for teaching staff.
