General Practitioner at YTHS Jyväskylä Service Point - Ylioppilaiden terveydenhoitosäätiö (YTHS) - Jyväskylä, Finland

We are currently seeking general practitioners for our Jyväskylä service point on a full-time (38 hours 15 minutes/week) and permanent basis starting from September 1 or according to agreement. The position can be performed from the service point or partly remotely. The work can be full-time or part-time – please let us know your preference! Our typical patient visits relate to mental health, skin diseases, musculoskeletal symptoms, infections, and sexual health. All students are seen for assessment of care needs. We use BeeHealthy's digital platform, and general practitioners also conduct remote consultations via chat on the digital platform. We offer comprehensive orientation, support from colleagues and supervisor, good consultation opportunities, opportunity to participate in a mentoring program, training to support your professional development, and possibility to tailor the job description. Regarding working conditions and salary, we follow the agreement between YTHS and the Finnish Medical Association. The salary range for general practitioners is €6,668–€7,348 and for specialists €7,410–€8,167 per month. The monthly salary may include a personal salary component of 6-24%. Payment for medical certificates and reports is in accordance with the collective agreement. We care for our employees. Our occupational health services are comprehensive. Proficiency in Finnish, good English, and sufficient Swedish skills are considered an advantage.
