Job Description
You will be responsible for overall Environment, Health and Safety(EHS) for the Bangi Plant & Kajang Distribution Center to ensure full compliance with legal requirements, standards and company requirements. You will maintain good practices and continuously find avenues to improve along the way to achieve a high EHS standard in alignment with regional and corporate direction and guidelines. Act as support to the plant for special tasks or projects and provide input and guidance to the team to ensure that all EHS factors relevant to projects are addressed appropriately before and during the project. You will be based in Bangi Malaysia and also support the Kajang Distribution Center. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with local legal regulations, international standards, and global directives; aligning SOPs with ISO14001 & ISO45001; performing & updating HIRARC; developing and conducting EHS training; supporting projects with risk assessments; reporting; leading incident investigations; maintaining ISO standards; conducting safety meetings; fostering safety culture; implementing EHS initiatives; conducting emergency drills; self-assessment; and other EHS initiatives.
