Touhula Vappula is a sports-oriented daycare located near Lake Lohja. The Vappula facility hosts three Touhula groups and three early childhood education groups from the City of Lohja. We work closely together. Your role as a preschool teacher In preschool, important skills are learned for the school path. As a preschool teacher, you are the pedagogical leader and an inspiring enabler of your team. You are responsible for planning your group’s preschool education and supplementary early childhood education activities in accordance with the preschool curriculum. You will use Touhula’s pedagogical annual plan, Touhula Rytmi, which supports your planning and assessment work. Your core tasks include: - Pedagogical leadership: Responsible for your team’s daily pedagogy, small group activities, and creating diverse and safe learning environments. - Individual support: Planning and assessing support measures for children in collaboration with multidisciplinary networks. - Customer experience: Ensuring high-quality communication with families and fostering a positive atmosphere that reaches families. - Team support: Developing an inclusive feedback culture and supporting colleagues in pedagogical work by leveraging team strengths.
